This is my write up from my 2 day ride around London. The London Revolution, this was a 300km ride starting in Enfield, stopping off at Windsor before returning to Enfield. Taking in some nice climbs in the north downs and chilterns.
This is my write up of my experience running the 2018 Virgin London Marathon for the British Heart Foundation. I was running in memory of my mum who sadly passed away following a heart failure and never got to see me complete this journey.
My first proper race since the NYC marathon 4 months ago. Training has gone pretty well since, although all of that training has been endurance work in preparation for the Manchester & London marathon's in April. So the big question was, how is my half marathon pace looking? can I run close to my PB pace or have I lost some of that speed during the endurance training.
You may or may not already know that I am going to be running the Virgin London Marathon in 2018 and running for the British Heart Foundation. I thought I would write a quick blog on my reasons why I am running for the BHF and the target I have now set myself.
This is my review of how things went for me during 2017. This was my second year of running, but really the first year where I actually had some structure to it.
A very tough race for more reasons than difficult obstacles, but a good fun afternoon out with great people.
After 19 weeks of training I enter the final 2 weeks of my Berlin training. Two weeks of tapering and resting up for Berlin.....
