This is my review of how things went for me during 2017. This was my second year of running, but really the first year where I actually had some structure to it.
On October 8th a group of 44 cyclists arrived in Cameron Arizona with a range of abilities but all with the same shared goal. Riding 300+ miles from Cameron Arizona, along the Grand Canyon, through the Arizona desert arriving at Last Vegas 5 days later. This is my personal account of how things went from my eyes, we all will have differing stories along the way but I hope you enjoy mine.
After July's GoTri this was my first attempt at a Sprint distance triathlon and forms part of my continuing training towards a full Ironman in Bolton next July.
After missing 3 weeks of training due in injury, it is time to get back at it and get marathon ready for Berlin, just 4 weeks to go until the big day, just how ready am I going to be for this after missing 3 weeks? Also stepping up my swim training now with the 2 mile Swim Serpentine event less than 3 weeks away now!!!
Have a read of how my first ever triathlon went at the GoTri Biddulph event.
This is my first cycle sportive and at 70-miles, the longest single ride I have done to date. I was cycling with a friend from work who is a very experienced and great cyclist so have a read how we got on with the Cheshire Cheetah
This is a in-depth recap of my 5 days cycling around Death Valley and finishing up on the Las Vegas strip. During this week I made some amazing friends for life and created many memories that will last a lifetime. I have put a lot of photos to break it up for you, who doesn't love some holiday photos.
