This is an overview of my race gear. What I use the morning of the race, during the race and what I find helps me to recover well from a big run.
12 months ago I ran my very first marathon in Paris. Today I ran marathon number 6 in Manchester with a more ambitious goal of running under 3hours 30 minutes. Coming just two weeks before the London Marathon, I have been in two minds about how to approach the Manchester Marathon all through training. In the end, I thought it was best to give 100% and just run it like any other race. Holding back can often result in injuries.
