The second race of the day and the second time I have ran the Great Manchester 10k. Two years ago this was my very first race, I turned up with probably 5 training runs under my belt and never ran the distance before. This time around I was turning up having ran a half marathon PB in the morning over in Liverpool and over 2,500 miles of running in the legs.

This was my first race of 2018 and the first race since the ROCK n ROLL LAS VEGAS MARATHON in November. My second 10k race in two weeks and I am starting to feel like my pre-injury speed is coming back now I have a good three weeks of running in the legs. How a read to see how the Sandbach 10k went for me.
After deciding to run the Tatton 10k late on I was lucky enough to gain a place from my Instagram friend Caithy Walker, the race was an early one starting at 8:30am and it was cold!!! (for September)
We move to the half way point in my 20 week plan and I am really pleased with how this plan is working for me. I think I have come on well since Paris and looking forward to running Berlin with a good solid block of training behind me. Have a read to see how the next 2 weeks went and see what I got up to.
