This is my recap of January RunThroughUK Tatton Park 10k. The first race of the year and time to get a good baseline and something to build on during 2019. Maybe even sneak a PB or even a sub 40.
This is my basic how to guide on getting your place on the starting line for your next marathon major. These are entry methods I have used or learned along my way to earning 5 marathon major finishes over the past 14 months. As well as some others which I was not aware off. Hopefully you may find this of use on your journey to the 6 star medal.
This is the first instalment of my 2019 triathlon training recap, where I intend to write a four weekly blog covering how the training has gone during that period. There is no set end date for this other than renaming to 2020 triathlon training if it runs into next year.
Another 12 months of running, swimming, riding and racing is done. These are my thoughts looking back at each month of 2018. A year which saw me complete two Ironman events, run half marathon and marathon PB's and record my biggest year in swimming, biking and running.
Marathon distance run number 10, my fifth of 2018 and final race of the year. I came into today wondering whether this was a race too far, feeling tired and carrying an injury, despite that I was still going to give it my best shot and try for a PB, anything under 3:35 will be a PB and a massive achievement given the injury. Here is my story of November 4th 2018.
Here we go again, flying out to New York for the NYC marathon. This blog is all about my travelling out, the expo and Saturday 5k. All of the preparations for Sundas marathon.
Marathon major number 4. This is the race I have spent the whole summer working towards. The A race for 2018, the race where I run well, the race I set a PB and run the time I know I am capable of..... that was the plan..
